Welcome
A Whole New Canva!
The sleek, new Canva layout will make it easier for even our youngest students to navigate tools, text, and elements. Plus, the classic overhead toolbar only shows tools relevant to the element type selected. Overall the redesigned layout is more intuitive, and less bulky, meaning more accessible to all.
Canva Enterprise
Canva is rolling out an “Enterprise” account for business, and while it will remain free for education users, this could lead to more varied setup options for districts and MATs who require different settings and access for different user groups.
Canva Work Kits
Although business focused, Canva’s new Works Kits provide role-specific templates that could be useful for administrative roles such as HR and marketing department. Work Kits could also be a really valuable tool for vocational training programs who want to give their students a good idea of the type of work involved for these Work Kit roles.
Canva Courses
While you can already build dedicated, self-paced online courses in Canva using a combination of their file types (add presentation, videos, worksheets, and more), this new update to courses allows teachers to and track user progress through the course so you can see which students are engaging, and which might need a little nudge.
Canva Docs
Canva Docs is leveling up, with new tools such as suggestions, which could be used for student feedback, allowing teachers to make specific edits on the doc rather than only leaving comments on the side. Plus, Canva docs already have built-in Canva Magic Switch, which allows you to turn a slide deck in one click.
Canva Magic - Whiteboards
Teachers in need of a new virtual collaborative whiteboard (RIP Jamboard) will be excited by this AI Canva Magic upgrade to Canva Whiteboards, which allows you to sort all the sticky notes by topic with a single magic click.
Teachers who use photo editing in Canva will already be familiar with Canva Grab, which uses artificial intelligence to separate the foremost image that can then be moved, resized, or deleted. In this new Canva Magic Grab upgrade, you can now select any image in a photo to separate from the whole.
In a more media conscious world, this means you can now easily separate and remove students who don’t have media releases from school social media photos.
Canva Magic - Grab
Canva Magic will also be getting an upgrade to their AI text to image tool, which can now generate exclusively in graphics, meaning you can quickly generate icons and graphic images for worksheets and presentations and therefore provide ample visual aids for effective learning.

Canva Video - Enhanced Voice
Have you ever asked your students to work on a video during class time, but struggle to provide enough space for students to get a quiet recording? This Canva Magic upgrade allows for enhanced voice, which quiets background audio from the recording, meaning students can share space and create quality recordings.
Canva Recording
Although you’ve had the ability to recording in presentations, Canva’s Recording update allows you to record across all design types with or without video - providing a greater level of accessibilities for all.
